Somewhere Only We Know

This song still brings chills up my spine.

It was the epiphany of normalcy in awkwardness and being alone. It was the mirror of me, but in someone else. It was the inspiration that pushed me to persevere through hard times, to where I am today.

I am thankful for my adonsep, but I somehow doubt they’ll ever know. So this is a shot out, thank you for laying down the ropes, reminding me of my habits being okay, and giving me faith.

Again, I doubt you’ll ever read this. But if you do, you don’t even have to say anything. You didn’t have to say anything to help me, and that is okay. Great role model.

This song reminds me of my pick me up, like in Super Mario Seven Stars RPG, that gave me hope again. The adonsep. It’s a trigger of emotion and happiness that nothing can ever hope to feign.

I can ramble on for ages. But I won’t. Thanks.

Atheism and Theism transcript

Religion

People who belong to an established religion rarely bug me.

I have plenty of friends who are Christians, Muslims, Jewish, and even Buddhist.

The only thing that bugs me about people who are devoted to an established religion is that they are following a man-made teaching. Their

faith says otherwise, yes, I am aware. But it was written down by a human being, at one point, and is not the almighty word of their God or

Gods.

My view of establishments for religion has shifted from negative to positive recently, actually. When I went to my grandpa’s funeral, I went

to a nice Catholic church nearby. The institution was actually very nice, and the priest was nothing short of humble.

They provide a nice network too for people. For teenagers, I know youth group is a good way to make friends at your age at a safe gathering.

Usually youth groups are comprised of non-judgmental people, so it is a safe haven to get some friends. I like that. I like that it

encourages activity, and engagement in lives.

I am annoyed by religious fanatics.

People who try to convince me that my life is wrong, or I’m on a wrong path. Even if I am on a wrong path, and you are truly faithful to your

beliefs, then your prayers for me should be heard by God, and I will eventually find my way. But at the moment, I am personally Agnostic.

Agnosticism is the wonderful neutral belief that.. that I don’t know if there is a God, Goddess, multiple Gods, or anything. It’s an open-air

belief that’s open to ideas. I consider myself open to one day possibly believe and follow a religion, but at the moment, I have no faith,

and feigning faith would be worse than remaining Agnostic, to those who are religious that is.

What shocks me to say is, that Atheists tend to be more hateful than religious extremists. In this world, we all need to give each other

respect. Respect for our own beliefs. Religious institutions that push spreading their belief in a forceful and/or discomforting way are just

as guilty, but more often-than-not, it is Atheists who promote hatred and conflict.

Coming straight from its definition, Atheism is the assertion of rejection of theism and/or belief of deities. People who claim to be Atheist

who do not believe this, you might want to reconsider your label. Agnosticism is the neutral approach. That, or you can claim to be

areligious.

The only thing I like about Atheists is… probably their assertiveness of their beliefs. I think that’s it though. But I like edgy people.

Except people who are areligious tend to just be purposely ignorant towards learning of religions. That’s kind of annoying, but, better than

holding a belief that causes conflict.

So the next time, from Atheists to Christians to Agnostics, the next time you feel like openly discussing your religion, please take note of

1) your tone, make sure you are genuine, and not picking a fight 2) your audience, it’s pretty rude to preach Islam to a Christian, it’s a

different story if it’s to an Agnostic though, we tend to be open thinkers and 3) show respect for their belief, if they seem uncomfortable,

switch the topic to politics.

Nah, I’m just yankin’ ya chain. I’ll talk about politics in another video. Have you ever heard the saying, “Two things not to talk about at

the dinner table: religion and politics?” Well, I think it’d be a bad idea to mesh both of those into one video, you know?

So, post a comment if you belong to a religion and have a say about my opinion, have experienced an awkward situation or conflict regarding

religion, or just feel like leaving your opinion of my analysis.

Thank you for watching.

If you haven’t already, subscribe to my channel, I try to shoot a vlog at least once a day.

And I think that’s it. Au revoir, youtube.

My youtube vlog experience

Since the the life of words seems to be jumbled and well-organized, why not butcher the visuals as well? I love my wordpress. I really do. There is so much history on this thing.

But. Until the stagnant aftertaste of blogging gets out of my mouth, I need to try something new.

I already am using twitter (http://twitter.com/diagas) a lot, since it’s easy to just tweet update crap. You know, it’s pretty “our generation” of me to just simplify and dumb down this crap, you know?

Anyways, my vlog is located at http://youtube.com/ediagas please check it out if you are interested.
